How a program runs
A full program runs as four sessions: foundations of strategic foresight; scenario planning in practice; exploring futures and implications; and foresight in leadership and capability development.
Each session combines frameworks with group work on the participants’ own organization, and the program closes with personal action plans. Shorter versions run as a single session or a half-day within a wider leadership program.
Example
A state government’s senior leaders program wanted its cohort equipped with strategic foresight over a two-day session. Ross designed and led the four sessions, from driving forces and futures wheels through scenario matrices and scenario development to foresight in leadership, closing with implications for the government and personal action plans.
Formats
Single session (one to two hours), half-day or full-day workshop, or a multi-session cohort program, in person or virtual. Part of Executive education and leadership development.
