Designing the Future of Work
Every organization is being reshaped by AI, shifting talent markets, distributed work, and generational change. This session gives boards and executive teams a shared view of how work will change for their organization, and the priorities and initiatives to design a future of work that attracts talent and creates value.
Ross Dawson has worked on the future of work for over two decades. His 2002 book Living Networks anticipated AI agents, remote work, and open innovation, and he has been named among the world’s top influencers in the future of work.
Audience: boards, executive teams, and senior leadership groups, with sessions tailored to the organization’s sector and situation.

Example
The leadership team and direct reports of a major US financial advisory group wanted to design the future of work for their organization rather than react to it. Ross ran a series of workshops that built common thinking frameworks and language across the group, developed a vision for the future workforce, and produced clear short, medium, and long-term initiatives for the company’s success in a rapidly changing world of work.
Related session
Where the leadership team has already formed its view of the future of work and wants to make the design choices, Building Humans + AI Organizations takes the next step: which work to automate, augment, or re-architect, the governance that enables transformation, and the leadership role.
Formats
Short session (one to two hours, presentation with discussion and Q&A), half-day to full-day workshop, or a workshop series, in person or virtual. Part of Board and executive briefings.
