Hey Ross,

Like your work, important and inevitable shift in where search is going! I'd add a couple more contexts which could be sub-categories:

* movement - if the device is on the move or not, or if it is in a location that indicates travel (sub cat of location)

* device purpose / account type - When I call Swisscom for tech support for by blackberry, they know it's a business phone. So the search context from my bb is likely to be quite different from that of my iPhone or iPad (sub cat of device)

* social location v alone - is there an indication (via geolocation or other cues) that the person is in a social setting such as a group outing, party, meeting etc? If so the interests of the broader group could be extremely relevant to the search context (sub cat of location)

* novel/new location - is this a regular location or a new one? If someone is in a city for the first time, searches are likely to be different (more immediately location-related perhaps) than if that person is in the lobby of a hotel they've been to 5 times before (sub cat of location)

Hope all is well back in Oz...
