It is a shame that they arbitrarily and without a clear and serious warning shut down a page or group. And I imagine that there are lots of other images to be found on facebook that are much less artistic in which nudity is present.

It again raises the question of how social media sites, specifically social network sites wield their power. And for lawmakers and enforcers how to deal with these and similar issues.
Facebook apparantly has not yet learnt how to be consequent and clear in their approach towards policy making and execution.
Perhaps it is because they are operating in an area where law has yet to follow the fast paced evolution of the web. Or the people at Facebook just are inconsequent.
I also raises the question how dependent should you let your business become from companies like Facebook? And I realize that for many businesses nowadays it is even not a choice. But I cannot imagine Facebook and the likes establishing SLA’s with all these connected businesses. Which poses a real risk for all these businesses.
As a closing note:
An even more difficult matter perhaps is that of morality. How is Facebook dealing with value systems of different groups? I might not be offended by nudity and I might find it offensive to deprive me from artistic nudity. An other discussion altogether.
