This is a wonderfully helpful list, Ross — thanks so much for pulling this together. A couple of omissions: Julie Friedman Steele, president of the World Future Society is missing…plus, as a member of WFS and a contributor to futures thinking through my consultancy, Leading Thought (see my latest viral expert round-up post featuring 40 of my futurist colleagues: https://bit.ly/2azKOrZ), I would be grateful to be considered, also.

Well done, Ross. As it happens I am right now completing a chapter for an Australian publication of “the history of Australian futures and foresight” being edited by Richard Slaughter and Anita Sykes-Kelleher. My piece is called “Women Shaping Australian Futures.” In the first call for papers there was a hint that perhaps there might be some women out there who were involved in the early days of futures studies in Oz (hello!!). And of course there were quite a lot of us. And as the research for the article has evolved we now have about 40 Australian women futurists who have collaborated on this article.
